Paul is originally from Canterbury but started his livestock career in Mid and South Canterbury as livestock agent at Mayfield, Temuka and Methven before becoming head auctioneer/ livestock manager and later livestock procurement for a Saudi export company. Paul has a strong affinity for the saleyard auction system which he believes offers clients true up to date market values with greater exposure to a wider volume of buyers.
In his spare time Paul enjoys working on his small block, following rugby, the odd game of golf and boating

Allister (also known as "Alby") has always had a passion for livestock, with all of his younger years spent growing up on relative's Sheep/Beef & Dairy Farms in North Cantebury. Alby has over 28 years experience in the Stock and Station Industry with his first appointment as the mail boy for Pyne Gould Guinness Ltd in Christchurch in the late 80's. Allister has worked as a Stock Agent in the Kaikoura & Cheviot ares, before being appointed as Livestock Manager for Marlborough and Nelson. He spent 10 years in Marlborough with a client base and in his spare time he was running his 170 acre farm. Allister then gained the position of Livestock Manager for PGG Wrightson Canterbury/West Coast & until recently joining PW&A Ltd. Outside of work, Allister enjoys spending time with his wife Alex and their three children on their 20 acres in Loburn. He also enjoys Rugby, Hunting, Fishing, Boating & Skiing

Andy developed his passion for livestock during his younger years when he visited relatives during his holidays on their beef & sheep properties. On leaving school Andy became a shearer and did this until joining the Police at the ripe old age of 24. After 12 years on the beat he then went dairy farming for 5 years gaining valuable experience in the dairy sector. Andy then took a position with Donaghys selling products to dairy farmers and bailing contractors. Andy worked for 8 years with this company and built up a strong client base before joining Peter Walsh and Associates as a live stock broker. In his spare time Andy enjoys spending time with his wife Tania and their two children, following them around the basketball courts and out on the water rowing. Andy is also a very keen horseman and enjoys boating with the family.

Dave was brought up in West Otago on the family farm, and after finishing school went into banking before becoming a livestock broker in Owaka in 1989. During Dave’s 25 years’ experience in the livestock industry he has held various positions including, finance, real estate & management. Now living between Wanaka & Ohoka, working for Peter Walsh & Associates Ltd Dave continues to service a well-established client base built up over many years sharing his advice & support in all important decisions of farming operations
In his spare time Dave follows his 3 children in their various sporting interests along with coaching some of their teams and playing the odd game of golf

Mark grew up and was schooled in Rangiora, spending his holidays working as a rousey and labouring on pig, poultry and dairy farms around the district. On leaving school, his first job was mail boy for a livestock business. He then spent six months in Golden Bay, assisting dairy specialist agents, before returning to Rangiora to manage a farm merchandise store for seven years. During his career, Mark has also worked for an independent parasitology company, as a TB testing field technician, and carried out quality assurance auditing for meat processing companies. Mark joined PW&A as a livestock broker in 2010, based in his home turf of North Canterbury. His out-of-work interests include skiing, cricket, shooting, fishing and hunting. Mark is also a regular on the netball and tennis court sidelines, supporting his family.

Gary spent his childhood in Nelson, before heading to Lincoln to complete a Diploma in Agriculture. He then moved to Taihape, where he had his first taste of the industry, working as a livestock clerk. Gary’s initial stock agent role was in Motueka and, after two years, he moved down the West Coast to service Westport, Greymouth and Hokitika. He decided on a change of direction and managed a farm at Franz Joseph for two years, before moving back to the East Coast and establishing his own livestock company covering the Ellesmere district. Gary joined PW&A in 2009, bringing with him auctioneering skills and 30 years of stock agent experience. Gary is also involved in running a saddlery business. Outside of work, Gary follows rugby and is a member of a local covers band.

Glen was born and raised in Gisborne, grew up on family and friends sheep and beef farms, spending school& university holidays working on sheep and cattle stations around Gisborne/East Coast. Glen then went on to Study a Batchelor of Applied science majoring in Agriculture at Massey University graduating in 2008. Following university he took up an opportunity to play polo professionally in the UK which he was doing for the past 8 years. Four years ago Glen moved back to New Zealand and has based himself in Amberley, North Canterbury, where he is enjoying the lifestyle and people! Other interests include horses, polo, rugby & hunting

Nick Cagney hails from Marlborough and has always had a strong affiliation for the outdoors. This led him into meatworks and butchery where he could hone his skills. After six years he realised he needed a new challenge when the opportunity to buy livestock for Countdown then Wilson/Hellaby in the North Island presented itself. A further six years down the track, Nick has now returned to family in the South Island and has taken the opportunity to join PW&A Ltd where he will assist the company to grow their business in the Banks Peninsula/Ellesmere area.
