Lindsay is a South Canterbury lad, through and through. His working life has been spent in farm-related businesses. During his first three years out of school, he worked as a farm machinery serviceman before spending the next 17 years in the wool industry. Roles included sampling supervisor, field representative and wool scour production manager. Lindsay worked for three years as a stock agent, before working in the office at PW&A. Where he attendend to the administrative demands involved with the livestock auctions and clearing sales. Lindsay has now taken up a new role as Livestock Broker in the Oamaru Region. During his out-of-work time, he follows his family’s sporting interests, which include netball and golf.

Di Medlicott

Di was born in Waiau in North Canterbury and attended school in Culverden, only leaving the area for her final year of secondary school, when she attended boarding school in Christchurch. When Di left school, she worked on a sheep stud in North Canterbury before shifting to Clinton and working on a sheep and beef property. She then headed to the North Island and became a drover – moving stock between Gisborne and Hunterville. Di worked on a variety of properties, most of which ran breeding studs. She continued working while raising a family and, three years ago, headed back south. She initially worked on a Station in the Hakataramea Valley, before shifting to Pukeuri (just north of Oamaru), where she had purchased 10 acres. It was at this time, she picked up her first job as a stock agent. Di joined the PW&A team as a livestock broker in September 2011. Outside of work, she likes to play squash, follow the family on the sports field and spend time in the garden.

Madison Taylor

Madison is from Rakaia, where he attended school before heading away to boarding school in Christchurch. After finishing school Madison began work in a rural merchandising store. As well as this he assisted at the sale yards after work to draft up sheep & cattle for the following days sale. Madison joined the PW&A team in November 2012 as a trainee in the South Canterbury region. Part of his role is to attend the Temuka sales weekly. Outside of work, he is keen on hunting and fishing. He also plays rugby and is a drum major in a pipe band.

Cannan Elvines

Cannan was bought up on a sheep and beef farm just south of Ashburton. Cannan's after school and holiday employment included working on a lamb finishing and cropping farm in the Mayfield area and at the same time Cannan also assisted PW&A Ltd in the saleyards at Temuka and Coalgate. As a Livestock Broker Trainee Cannan will be working both in the office and alongside brokers. This will assist him to develop a wide range of skills before he moves into a fully fledged Broker role.
